Senior Allie Druffel blocked a game-tying three at the horn to seal a 55-52 victory over Shenandoah.
With the win, Randolph moves to 11-1, matching last year's program record for wins in a season.
In a closely contested game, neither team ever led by more than six at any point.
After Shenandoah jumped out to a 12-6 lead early, Randolph scored seven straight to take the lead.
In a half that featured six lead changes, it was no surprise that the teams found themselves close at the half, with Shenandoah leading 23-21.
Over the first eight minutes of the second half, neither team grew a lead larger than a single possession in the close battle, with three ties in that frame.
Shenandoah took the only two-possession lead of the second half when they grew a lead of six again, but Randolph scored six straight to level the score.
With Randolph down 44-43, senior Chelsea Tyler was fouled while converting a layup, giving Randolph the lead once again.
The teams exchanged baskets, with sophomore Jacqueline Hockman and Druffel putting Randolph up.
After a defensive stop, senior Jensen Hoover took a pass from Druffel to lay the ball up to make the lead three.
Shenandoah hit twice from the field as time ticked down, but sophomore Brie Holdren hit four straight free throws to keep the lead at three.
With 4.5 seconds left, Shenandoah advanced the ball to the left wing, but Druffel was there to turn a game-tying shot aside to close the game.
Holdren finished with a game-high 14 points.
Hoover had a dozen points and 11 rebounds, while Druffel had 11 points and eight rebounds.
As a team, Randolph shot 50% from three once again, marking the fifth time in a row the WildCats have done that. They are third in the nation in three point shooting.
Randolph will have a chance to break the program record for wins on Saturday in the first half of a home doubleheader, facing Virginia Wesleyan at 2:00 p.m.
