Randolph College Sports Information - Brand Guidelines

WildCat Athletics is a representation of Randolph College's visual sports identity. In an effort to strengthen and maintain our imagery and traditions. The sports information department at Randolph College has developed a set of brand guidelines to define acceptable uses of athletic colors, logos, and wordmarks to be consistent across all sports.

WildCat Athletics - Color Palette 


History of Emphasizing the W & C within WildCat
The W & C within the word WildCat is an important reference to Randolph College’s history as a Women's College. When using the word “WildCat” it should always have a capitalized W & C.



WildCat Head - Primary Logo
When using the WildCat head primary logo there should be an outline of white placed on a background of ANY color. No other design elements should interact or touch the WildCat logo.



WildCat Head - Secondary Logos
When using the WildCat head as only an outline, it is considered a secondary logo. Outline of the WildCat head is acceptable in white, black, or yellow placed on a background of ANY color. No other design elements should interact or touch the WildCat logo. 




WildCat Athletics - Wordmarks
These wordmarks were designed specifically for a variety of uniform applications across all Randolph College sports teams. 




Proper vs Improper abbreviations for WildCat Athletics 
Usage of “RC” as an abbreviation for Randolph College is prohibited in any front-facing marketing or social material as it is commonly associated with Roanoke College. To maintain our athletic branding identity, appropriate abbreviations include WildCats, ‘Cats, and Randolph.
