Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Randolph overcame a 13-point second half disadvantage to move to a program-best 8-2.
Two 7-2 teams opened the 2013 St. Pete Classic this afternoon on the campus of Eckerd.
Sophomore Abigail Bullins (Asheboro, N.C./Asheboro) stole the show, with 26 points, including seven threes, one shy of a school record she shares.

Midway through the second, senior Emilee Dunton (Forest, Va./Brookville) hit a three to cut the lead to one.
After two Inferno free throws, Bullins hit consecutive threes to put Randolph up for the first time since midway through the first half, 55-52.
After a 5-0 Alverno run, a jumper by Allie Druffel (Centreville. Va./Westfield) tied it.
A 7-0 spurt put Alverno up again, but Dunton and Bullins each hit from long range to close the lead to one.
After a defensive stop, Druffel picked up the rebound allowing Randolph a chance.
After a miss, Korin Harris (Brandywine, Md./Elizabeth Seton) picked up the biggest offensive rebound of her career setting up another chance.
Out of a timeout, Dunton drained another triple to give Randolph a lead.
After a stop, Druffel corralled another board and Bullins hit two free throws to ice the game.
Randolph is now off to its best start in program history.
