VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Randolph fell to Virginia Wesleyan in both halves of a doubleheader this afternoon.

Game scores were 9-3 and 13-2.

In game one, Virginia Wesleyan scored four in the top of the first to get ahead

Randolph rallied for one in the top of the second after junior Rachel Hickman drove in first-year Brittany Campbell with a double.

Senior Haleigh Wilson drove in sophomore Jackie Lamberty in the fourth and came around on a single by first-year Rebecca Montgomery.

The bats couldn't cut into VWC's lead any more, however.

In game two, Wilson drove in first-year Haley Brickles on two separate singles for both of Randolph's runs.

Virginia Wesleyan's offense heated up in that contest, however, scoring 13 to end the game after five innings.

Randolph has a quick turnaround, playing the other ODAC finalist from 2014, Randolph-Macon, on Sunday.
