Softball Breaks Program Record For Wins to Stay Alive in ODAC Tournament

Box Score

SALEM, Va. -- Randolph broke the program record for wins in a season this morning, as it defeated Emory and Henry, 2-0, to stay alive in the ODAC tournament.

Sophomore Hannah Cook (Yorktown, Va./Grafton) hit her second two-RBI double to right-center field in as many days to drive in the only runs of the game for Randolph.

That was all senior Logan Carter (Richmond, Va./Midlothian) needed, as Randolph's ace tossed a complete game shutout to eliminate the Wasps.

Randolph will advance to play at 3:30 p.m., against the loser of the game between Virginia Wesleyan and Randolph-Macon.
