Box Score 2 MYRTLE BEACH, Va. -- Randolph got the best of three of its four opponents over Sunday and Monday.
Coming off of a win in Saturday's spring break opener, Randolph took on Pitt.-Greensburg and Penn St.-Altoona on Sunday.
In the first game, Randolph's offense came alive putting up nine runs on just 10 hits in the contest after jumping out to a big lead in the first inning.
Randolph scored two in the first inning against PSU-Altoona, but conceded three runs apiece in the third and fourth innings.
A late surge brought Randolph within one, but the tying run was left stranded on second base.
Five different players had RBIs for Randolph in the game.
In Monday's contests, Randolph was pushed to extras in game one, finally overecoming Greenville in nine innings.
The score was 7-4.
In the day's second game, Randolph shut out Emmanuel (Mass.), scoring all six of the game's runs.
First-year Haley Christensen (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) pitched the game's first five innings, allowing just three hits.
Her classmate, Ashley Dudding (New Castle, Va./Craig County), came on and pitched the final two innings, allowing just one baserunner on an error.
The WildCats will play three more games in South Carolina before returning home for back-to-back ODAC doubleheaders.
