What to Look For
Randolph will look to take its momentum gained Saturday and win on the road against Washington & Lee. The WildCats have struggled on the road this season, going 3-6 away from the RAD Center. If Randolph could win Wednesday, it would pull into the sixth spot in the ODAC, just two games behind Lynchburg College, with which the WildCats have two games remaining. Of the WildCats' remaining six remaining games, all six are with teams that are within two spots in the standings each way.

A Look at the Generals
Washington & Lee University is coming off a tough loss to Virginia Wesleyan College Monday evening, falling 92-76. The game was tied with six minutes to play, but the No. 3 Marlins pulled away down the stretch. Javon McDonald scored a career-high 28 points in the game for WLU. The Generals have one of the league's elite big men in JD Ey. Ey does a lot for W&L, as his rebounding total of nine per game leads the conference. He also leads the league in blocks, and is fifth in assists. McDonald is scoring 11.5 points per game this year for the Generals, hitting 38.6 percent from deep. Jeremy Adkins is another three-point threat for Washington & Lee, and Larry Whitaker is a long defender that rebounds well and is tough in the paint. The Generals are the league's second-best free throw shooting team, and also only average 15 turnovers a game.

Against the Generals
The WildCats have played Washington & Lee University five times previously, winning four of those match-ups. Randolph is 2-0 in Lexington, VA, winning last year by a score of 68-66. Earlier this season, the WildCats earned a 78-70 win in the RAD Center behind the 22 points from Mike Ehilegbu.

A Look at the Royals
Eastern Mennonite has had an up and down year to date, though the Royals still have a lot from last year's squad that won 20 games. EMU has lost two straight after winning its previous two, losing by two to Roanoke Saturday. EMU likes to take the ball to the rim, as the Royals lead the league in free throws per game with 27.3 a night. Eastern Mennonite is also send in the conference in steals. Post player Andrew Thorne leads the EMU attack with 12.8 points per game, while sophomore wing RJ Sims also pours in 12.5 a night. Sophomore guard Dajon Daniel is just under 10 points per game.

Against the Royals
Randolph earned its first win against EMU last season when it knocked off No. 16 EMU 64-61 in the RAD Center. The WildCats have lost the other six meetings with the Royals, including this year's three-point thriller in Harrisonburg a couple of weeks back.

Grand Accomplishment
Junior guard Colton Hunt (Whittier, NC/Smoky Mountain) became the school's first ever male to enter the 1,000 point club, as he accomplished the feat Saturday in the win over Hampden-Sydney. Hunt now stands at 1,004.

Knocking On the Door
Senior forward Derrick Woods-Morrow (Greensboro, NC/NE Guilford) is on the precipice of eclipsing the 1,000 point barrier, as the big man is currently seven points short of that mark. Woods-Morrow made a huge step forward in his quest as he scored a game-high 22 points Saturday.

Not So Fresh, Man
First-year guard Zach Desgain (Richmond, VA/J.R. Tucker) has not played like a newcomer this season, as he has played 32.5 minutes per game, which leads the conference. He is sixth in assists with 61 on the year, and also is in the top 15 in field goal percentage, defensive rebounds, steals and free throw percentage.

Let's Shoot For 50
When the WildCats shoot at or above 50 percent in a contest, they are 6-1 on the season with the lone loss coming in a six-point loss to Emory & Henry College.

Nine For the Steal
The WildCats have had games when they have been very tenacious on defense. When Randolph has gotten to nine or more steals in a game, they are a 6-0 on the season. Randolph registered a season-high 23 steals against Christendom back on Nov. 18.

Passing To Score
Randolph is a team that has a lot of talent, but does best when the ball movement is crisp and open looks are found. In wins this season, Randolph is averaging 15.4 assists per game compared to only 8.6 in losses.

Triple Play
The WildCats have been up and down from behind the arc this season, as they have hit 42.2 percent of their trifectas in wins and only 26.4 percent in losses. Saturday against H-SC, they knocked down 6-10 from behind the arc.

Earning the Free Ones
Randolph doesn't get to the line that much, as the 'Cats are last in the conference in free throw attempts per game. That doesn't mean that they don't take advantage, as free throw shooting is the best in league, averaging 70.8 percent from the charity stripe.

High Percentage
Woods-Morrow had one of his best games at Randolph Saturday, as he hit nine-of-11 from the floor in the victory. His .818 shooting tied with now assistant Timmy Clarke and Zach Desgain for the second –best shooting performance of all-time at the College.

Head Cat
Head coach Clay Nunley is currently 48-70 all time as a head coach, as he took his first head job here at Randolph. He is 19-39 in the ODAC (.328) but also has a ODAC Coach of the Year Award to his credit for the 18-10 season in 2010-11.
