What to Look For
Randolph has been in every game it has played this season, and seven of its 10 losses have come by less than nine points. Also, it is very likely that junior guard Colton Hunt (Whittier, NC/Smoky Mountain) will surpass the 1,000 point barrier this week, as he currently sits with 985 and is averaging 17.3 points per game.

A Look at the Quakers
Guilford College is riding high after its huge, upset victory over No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan College Saturday afternoon. Head coach Tom Polombo and his troops have won four straight and are 8-1 in Ragan-Brown Field House. Guilford is one of the best defensive teams in the conference, as the Quakers only allow 64.6 points per game. Junior Josh Pittman is leading the way for the Quakers, as the guard is averaging around 14 points per contest. Gabriel Lowder and Matt McCarthy are also deadly three-point shooters for GC, while first-year Will Freeman is averaging just over 10 points per game. Brad Monroe leads the team in rebounding with 7.6 boards per game. GC is first in the league in offensive boards and rebounding margin.

Against the Quakers
The WildCats are 2-5 all-time against the Quakers, earning two wins last year. The first win came in a come-from-behind 55-50 victory at home, while the latest win came in the ODAC quarterfinals, a 75="72" thriller from the Salem Civic Center.

A Look at the Tigers
Hampden-Sydney is enjoying a resurgence this season as the Tigers come into the week 13-4 and 7-2 in the ODAC. The Tigers are very long and athletic and have the best shooting percentage of any team in Division III men's basketball. ODAC Player of the Year candidate Harrison George is posting 18.4 points per game for HSC, while Khobi Williamson is shooting 64.6 percent from the floor en route to 12.1 points per night. Senior Ben Jessee recently eclipsed the 1,000 point plateau and is shooting 39.6 from behind the arc. First-year forward Cam Anderson shoots 71.6 percent from the floor and 8.4 points per game. HSC averages 87.9 points a game, first in the conference, but have struggled with turnovers at times.

Against the Tigers
Randolph is 2-3 since the program's inception back in 2007, though the two teams have only played five total times in five years. Randolph won two of the first three games between the two teams, but H-SC has earned all three of their wins at home.

Closing In
Colton Hunt is just 15 points shy of reaching 1,000 for his career, which would make him the first WildCat men's hoopster to reach that mark. Senior Derrick Woods-Morrow (Greensboro, NC/NE Guilford) is just 35 points shy of the mark as well, sitting at 965.

Leader of the Pack
Colton Hunt became the all-time points leader for the WildCats Saturday at Eastern Mennonite, as he scored 24 points in a loss to the Royals. Hunt is the all-time leader in four categories, and also tops in seven single-season records.

Dylan Pickle
Junior Dylan Shiflett (Virginia Beach, VA/Cape Henry) has been putting opposing defenses in a pickle as of late, as the post player has had two double-digit games since coming back from Christmas break. Shiflett posted a career-high 14 points and nine rebounds Saturday at EMU.

Double-Figures Derrick
Senior Derrick Woods-Morrow has posted double figures in four straight games and seven of his last nine games. Derrick poured in a season-high 18 points against Roanoke College. He also has five double-doubles on the season.

Defending Well
Randolph is 41st in the country in scoring defense, holding opposition to 61.6 points per game. Randolph is also in the top-55 in personal fouls per game, surrendering only 15.9 per game.

Three-Point Shooting
Randolph is shooting 32.3 percent from behind the arc, though the top two shooters: Hunt and sophomore Mike Ehilegbu (Raleigh, NC/Ravenscroft) are both shooting over 36 percent.

Depth Charge
Randolph has only been playing between 8-10 players in contests this season. As the season wears on, look for the WildCats to go to more players. Last season, then-sophomore Chris Battaglia (Smithfield, VA/Portsmouth) came on late in the year and played well.
