Men's Tennis Set for Two ODAC Matches this Weekend

LYNCHBURG, VA – After playing its last Division III opponent over two weeks ago, the Randolph College men's tennis team will be back in action this weekend.  The WildCats will play two Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matches, one on Friday and one on Saturday.

On Friday, the 'Cats (5-2 overall, 0-1 ODAC) play Hampden-Sydney College (1-3) at home at 3:30 p.m.  The two teams both competed in the WildCat Fall Invitational in September, but only one match occurred between the two programs.  Tuan Tran took down Myshake Abdi.  However, both the WildCats and Tigers have played against Southern Virginia University this year.  The 'Cats beat the Knights in the fall, while H-SC lost earlier this month.

On Saturday, Randolph heads to Bridgewater College (1-7) at 1 p.m.  BC also participated in the WildCat Fall Invitational, and had great success in the tournament, winning several flights.  It should be a very competitive match despite the record of the Eagles, as Bridgewater has played a very tough schedule.
