Box Score

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Senior Samantha Fagone took sole possession of first place in the nation in saves today after making 18 stops.

Fagone became the first player in the nation to break the 150 save plateau this year in the 20-6 defeat to Roanoke.

In the game, she made nine stops in each half.

The senior keeper made double-digit saves for the seventh straight game and this marks the third time in 2015 she stopped at least 18 shots.

She broke a tie at 139 saves for the nation's lead and now also has the most saves per game of any player with at least five games played in goal.

Randolph got out to a great start as sophomore Erin Campbell scored the first of the game.

Senior Taylor Klevenz scored two goals and added an assist to junior Taylor Riccardi over the rest of the first half to lead the WildCats.

After a fast-paced first half, the teams settled in a bit more in the second.

Fagone stopped nine of the 15 shots on goal she faced in the final 30 minutes of the game.

Riccardi and Klevenz each added another goal in the frame to close Randolph's scoring.

Randolph travels to Hollins Wednesday before hosting Lynchburg for Senior Day for Klevenz and Fagone on Saturday.
