LYNCHBURG, Va. - The College Sports Communicators released its 2026 Academic All-District At-Large Team, which recognizes the nation's top students for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Abi Brigman from the women's lacrosse team was recognized.

The At-Large men's team is comprised of student-athletes from Fencing, Golf, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Rifle, Skiing, Volleyball, Water Polo, and Wrestling.

Brigman started 12 games of the 14 played. She had two goals and one assist while also picking up 13 ground balls and winning 13 draw controls for the WildCats.

Brigman is an Economics major with a minor in Math. On campus, she is a Gold Key guide, a member of Gamma, and a member of Chi Alpha Sigma. She is a Dean's list recipient for both the fall and spring semesters. Also, Brigman competed for the women's cross country team this past fall.
