FERRUM, Va. -- After two nail-biting 5-4 wins, Randolph earned another win but in much more convincing fashion.
The WildCats won, 9-0, over Ferrum in a Sunday road matchup, dropping only a total of four games on the entire day over nine matches.
Junior Dina Velazco and sophomore Jenna Sweet at No. 1 doubles and junior Sarah Parker and sophomore Heather Parra at No. 2 doubles each won 8-1.
Seniors Danielle Lewis and Tiandre Forde were successful at No. 3, 8-0.
Velazco and Parker each only dropped one game in their respective singles matches at No. 1 and No. 2.
The final four singles players, Sweet, Parra, Lewis and Forde, each won, 6-0, 6-0.
This is the start of a busy week for Randolph with home matches Wednesday and Friday and one on the road Saturday.
