Men's Tennis Sweeps Ferrum in Non-Conference Action Sunday

FERRUM, Va. -- Randolph got the win today in men's tennis action at Ferrum, sweeping the nine matches.

Senior Daniil Lyalko and sophomore Dario Schiano-Moriello won, 8-5, at top doubles.

First-year Bradley Strober and sophomore JT von Seggern were successful at No. 2 doubles, 8-2.

Sophomores Trevor Johnson and Doug Corbett won, 8-0 to send Randolph into singles play up 3-0.

The same six players won in dominating fashion in singles play, all of which were straight sets wins.

Combined over the 12 sets, Randolph's six singles players only lost 15 games total with no set closer than 6-3.

Head coach Jamie Megginson's lineup featured those six players in the following order: Strober, von Seggern, Lyalko, Johnson, Corbett and Schiano-Moriello.

This is the first of three straight road matches for the men's team, traveling to Southern Virginia next on Wednesday.
