Junior Andrew Risse took a feed from classmate Brian Crosby to get Randolph on the scoreboard first on an extra-man chance.
Junior Andrew Gleitz followed on a pass from first-year Kadri Hearns and sophomore Shane Soghomonian sent the team into intermission down just 6-3 with the half's final goal.
The Generals, ranked No. 15 in the USILA Coaches Poll, lived up to their national reputaiton with a strong second half.
Only a goal from senior Clay Orshoski off a feed from Soghomonian went Randolph's way in the final 30 minutes, as the Generals sealed a win.
Sophomore Spencer Matthews had seven ground balls to lead the defensive effort.
Junior Cam Davis and first-year Matt Lindenbaum combined for 10 saves in net for Randolph.
W&L used goals from nine different players in the balanced offense.
Randolph is next in action in the first of four straight home games at WildCat Stadium.
The WildCats will take on Greensboro Wednesday at 7 p.m., in that homestand's opener.
