LEXINGTON, Va.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team faced #16 ranked Washington and Lee on Saturday afternoon at Wilson Field. The Generals won by the score of 29-1.
James Haley and James Cardillo led W&L with four goals each. Haley also assisted on five other goals.
For Randolph, Parker Eastman (Ruther Glen, Va./Riverbend) scored the WildCats' lone goal with 8:37 remaining in the fourth quarter off an assist by Cooper Callan (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax). It was Eastman's sixth goal of the season, which is already a career high.
Kalon Ross (Landover, Md./Central HS) led the defense with four groundballs. Cole Robbins (Chesterfield, Va.) had three groundballs and three caused turnovers.
Keegan Slider (Saluda, Va./Christchurch School) had 13 saves between the pipes in the first half. Jayden Rosado (Lynchburg, Va./St. Cloud High (Fla.) came in the second half and tallied five saves.
The WildCats conclude their season on Wednesday when they host #3 the University of Lynchburg. Game time will be at 7:00 pm at WildCat Stadium.
