Best Men's Tennis Season Ever Ends in ODAC Quarterfinals

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Randolph's record-setting year has concluded after a 6-0 loss this afternoon at Washington and Lee.

In Randolph's first-ever ODAC tournament appearance, the team fell in all three doubles matches.

Junior Daniil Lyalko (Reisterstown, Md./Park School of Baltimore) and first-year Doug Corbett (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) teamed up at top doubles, but fell to Taylor Shamshiri and Michael Holt, 8-1.

First-years Q Manglapus (Falls Church, Va./-) and JT von Seggern (McLean, Va./Langley) fell to Chris Hu and Sam Borowsky at No. 2, 8-2.

Junior Zach Dales (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque) and junior Dan Phung (Hanoi, Vietnam/International) conceded No. 3, 8-1, to Jordan Krasner and John Kirby.

In singles play, von Seggern, Phung and Dales fell in straight sets, to give Washington and Lee enough points for the win.

Randolph ends the year with the most wins, conference wins and winning percentage in program history.
