BUENA VISTA, Va. -- Randolph fell today in non-conference action under the lights.

Junior Daniil Lyalko (Reisterstown, Md./Park School of Baltimore) and first-year Doug Corbett (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) teamed up at the top doubles spot but fell 8-6.

First-year players Q Manglapus (Falls Church, Va./-) and JT von Seggern (McLean, Va./Langley) played at second doubles but fell in a tiebreaker.

Juniors Zach Dales (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque) and Dan Phung (Hanoi, Vietnam/International) competed in the final pairs matchup but lost, 8-5.

In singles play, Lyalko won an impressive supertiebreaker but Corbett and von Seggern fell.

Randolph next competes on Friday as both programs host Emory & Henry.
