Berry College Pulls Away Late From Randolph College Men's Lacrosse in 9-4 Loss

                CHARLOTTE, NC – The Randolph College men's lacrosse team trailed by only two after three quarters but Berry College put together a 3-0 fourth quarter as the WildCats dropped a 9-4 decision in non-conference action from Charlotte Christian School.

                Randolph (3-11) trailed by one after the first quarter, and would take a two-goal deficit into halftime at 4-2. After the Vikings (5-9) increased their advantage to three at 6-4, Berry would go on a 3-0 run over the last 15 minutes to put the game away.

                Junior Stephen Allman (Goodview, VA/Roanoke Catholic) scored twice and assisted on another, while sophomores Colton Wood (Chula Vista, CA/Otay Ranch) and Bobby Crosby (Bethel, CT/Bethel) each scored for the WildCats. Senior Kevin McCracken (Annandale, VA/Annandale) was credited with three saves in net for Randolph.

                Berry was led by Bryan Byers, who finished with three goals and assist while Max Smerka had three goals and two assists as well for the Vikings.

                Randolph will finish its season a week from today at Hampden-Sydney College Saturday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m.
