LYNCHBURG, VA – The Randolph College men's tennis team had its match with Emory & Henry College moved to The Sports Racket tennis club across town due to rain in the area, but struggled to get much going in a 7-1 loss to the Wasps Saturday afternoon.
Randolph (4-7/1-4 ODAC) dropped five of the six singles matches, but again got a solid win from Dan Phung (Hanoi, Vietnam) at No. 6 singles. Phung improved his singles mark to 8-4 on the year, and leads the WildCats in winning percentage. Unfortunately for the team, the WildCats were unable to make up the deficit in dropping their fourth straight league affair.
The WildCats will be back in action on Friday afternoon in Bridgewater, VA as they take on Bridgewater College at 3:30 p.m. in an important ODAC matchup.
