2016-2017 VaSID Academic All-State

2016-2017: Finished up a stellar career as the lone senior and lone upperclassmen…took on a large leadership role and excelled both on and off the court…played the full year of singles at number three, and went 13-3 in dual matches, and 2-1 in the WildCat Fall Tournament (lost to doubles partner Ashley Schmitz)…had a six- and four-match win streak during the year…played the whole year at number two, with all but three of the doubles matches coming with Schmitz…won 11 times with Schmitz, which included two four-match win streaks…ends her career with the most singles (53) and doubles (28) wins in program history, while having the highest win percentage (.815) of a player with more than 20 matches in singles…she will be greatly missed for her leadership and her ability.

2015-2016: Had an outstanding junior season…moved up to the number two spot during the year and cemented herself as one of the best in the conference and the history of the program…went 13-4 between three and two, with 10 wins coming at number two…the 13  wins have propelled her to hold the  program record in singles wins with 38...was just as good in doubles action…primarily teamed with Dina Velazco at number one…combined to win 13 matches with Velazco, while falling in only four…currently has the second most wins in doubles play in the history of the program…will look to finish her career with another stellar season as she leads the WildCats.

2014-2015: Posted one of the top seasons, winning the second-most overall matches on the team…had the best win-percentage in singles, posting a 12-2 record…went 9-2 at number three singles and 3-0 at number four…finished the ODAC with a 6-2 record…in doubles, she played the whole year at number one with Dina Velazco…won eight matches during the season, including finishing the ODAC portion with a 6-4 record…will look to continue her strong play as a junior.

2013-14: Went 11-3 overall and 6-2 in ODAC play in singles, playing everywhere from No. 3-No 6...started 4-0 in both singles and doubles...runner up in her flight at Methodist Invitational...won the Flight B singles class at Sweet Briar Invitational...was 12-6 in doubles play and 6-5 in league pairs play....all 18 matches were at No. 2 doubles...won her singles match (6-2, 6-1) and doubles match (8-5) in the ODAC Quarterfinals at No. 6 and No 2., respectively...helped Randolph to the best record in program history.

Personal: Daughter of Jeffrey and Michelle Sweet. Jenna captained her team and placed 4th place at states her senior year. She likes to sleep, shop, and go to the beach in her spare time. She is minoring in sociology and chemistry.
