Ellen Geraghty is beginning her second season as an assistant after joining the staff in 2015.
Geraghty worked with Athletes in Action for three years at the University of Connecticut. She has a variety of experiences both domestically and internationally providing team building and mental training experiences for teams and camps including Florida State, Gordon College, Uppsala Basket and working with the Colombian Women's National team at the Pre-Olympic Tournament.
Her playing career has been extensive as well. She played collegiately at the University of Maine, helping the Black Bears to three America East Conference Championships, going undefeated in the conference regular season her senior year and earning bids to the NCAA tournament twice and once to the WNIT. Also, Geraghty was a team captain for two years.
During and after her time at Maine, she played on several touring teams with Athletes in Action in the USA, Czech Republic, Spain, and Colombia. Following her time there she became a player/coach with the Uppsala Basket Division I club in Sweden. After spending two seasons in Sweden, she played for Club Estancia in Colombia, helping the team to the silver medal at the FIBA South American Championships. She spent one more season in Colombia playing for Club Pabor.
She has also worked atseveral camps throughout the east coast and in Colombia and in Sweden.
