CARY, N.C. - The Randolph College women's soccer team made the trip down to William Peace University for a Saturday evening contest
It was a scoreless first half with the WildCats controlling the offense with 12 shots, nine on goal, to zero shots from the Pacers.
After the break, both teams were looking to get a goal on the board to end the drought. However, in the 66th minute,
Holly Bermingham netted one high left off an assist from
Bailey Richardson to put the 'Cats up 1-0. Ten minutes later, to widen the gap, Richardson took the ball up to center field to score the WildCats' second goal of the night.
Kacie Walker was in the net for the WildCats to earn her second shutout of the season. The team totaled 19 shots with 13 shots on goal.
Casey Serttas led all players with six shots and four on goal.
Randolph is back on the road to Salem College on Wednesday. Kick off is set for 4 p.m.
