LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph women's soccer team took the short trip over to the University of Lynchburg to open up conference play for the 2025 season. The WildCats fell to the Hornets 0-5. The Hornets netted their first goal in the first half and their next four in the second half.
The Hornets outshot the WildCats 21-2 in the game. Shots on goal were 13-2 in Lynchburg's favor.

Rachel Fields picked up seven saves on the night and
Abby Gilbert tallied one save.
The 'Cats are back at WildCat Stadium on Saturday at 4 p.m. to face the Royals of Eastern Mennonite and to honor our seniors on senior day.
