LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's soccer team will begin its 2025 season this Monday as the WildCats travel to Mary Baldwin University for a 4:30 p.m. start. Randolph is coming off an 7-9-2 campaign a year ago.
The WildCats have 15 returners from last year's team including scorer
Madison Booker. Booker is the leading goal scorer coming back as she scored four goals last year for the WildCats.
The Wildcats bring back
Holly Bermingham and
Rozzalyn Jackson, who were among the top five scores from last season.
Emma Johnson,
Kyla Lockette, and
Amanda Ramirez-Rodriguez come back to anchor the defense.
Alana Ellis and
Keghan Marion come back as key players for the WildCats along with
Rachel Fields in the net.
Fields was the starting goalkeeper from last year's squad. She started all 18 games finishing with 87 saves and .725 save percentage. Gilbert played in 6 games with 8 saves and .800 save percentage.
The WildCats have a total of seven first-year players joining the team this year. All will look to see time on the field over the course of the season.
Randolph begins its season on Monday at Mary Baldwin University. The WildCats' home opener is Sept. 6 against William Peace University. The conference opener will be on Sept. 24 at University of Lynchburg.
