Women's Soccer Selected Ninth in ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its Women's Soccer Preseason Poll on Thursday. Randolph was selected ninth out of 13 teams with a total of 54 points.

Reigning ODAC champions, Washington and Lee were tabbed first in the conference poll as it totaled 144 points with 12 first place votes. Last year's ODAC Championship runner-up Virginia Wesleyan was selected second with 129 points and one first place vote. The University of Lynchburg comes in third with 125 points, Bridgewater slides into fourth at 101 points, Randolph-Macon fifth at 95 points. For the rest of the poll, see the below.

The WildCats bring back Madison Booker, Holly Bermingham, and Rozzalyn Jackson, who were among the top five scorers from last year. Emma Johnson, Kyla Lockette, and Amanda Ramirez-Rodriguez come back to anchor the defense. Alana Ellis and Keghan Marion come back as key players for the WildCats along with Rachel Fields in the net.

The 'Cats season begins on Sept. 1 at Mary Baldwin. Randolph hosts William Peace for its home opener on Sept. 6 and opens conference play on Sept. 24 at Lynchburg.
