LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's volleyball team released its schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday. The WildCats will play a total of 28 matches with 14 away and 14 at home.
The new season officially begins on August 30 as Randolph will play Plymouth State and St. Joseph's University of Brooklyn at Virginia Wesleyan's tournament. The following weekend, Randolph will participate in the Maroon Classic at Roanoke College. The 'Cats will face the USA South's Salem College, North Carolina Wesleyan, Brevard, and Methodist. The WildCats play their first ODAC match on September 10 at Randolph-Macon.
The team's longest homestand of the season begins on September 12 as Randolph welcomes Clinton College and Pfeiffer to Giles Gymnasium. The WildCats host Columbia College and Hood College the following day. A midweek home conference match against cross-city rival Lynchburg is September 17. The WildCats host defending conference champion W&L on Friday the 19th. The following day, the WildCats host Bridgewater. On September 23, St. Mary's College of Maryland comes to campus. The University of Pitt-Bradford makes it first ever visit to Randolph on September 27. The month of October starts with conference matches against Guilford (10/1) and Shenandoah (10/3) to end the homestand.
The WildCats head on the road for their next two matches, Virginia Union on October 7, and at Roanoke on October 11. The WildCats travel to Greensboro on October 18 to face the host Pride and the Falcons of Pfeiffer for the second time. An early week home ODAC match with Averett is on October 21. On October 25, the WildCats host a quad match with Regent, Virginia Union, and Sweet Briar. The final match of the month of October is at Hollins on the 29th.
The month of November will have the final regular season home match against Eastern Mennonite on November 1. The WildCats wrap the regular season slate at Virginia Wesleyan on November 5 and at Mary Washington on November 8.
