"The guys competed so well today against a good Lynchburg side we haven't beaten since 2017," said head coach Sam Martinez. "6-1 against them has our group feeling really good going into Virginia Wesleyan week. Big shoutouts to Jacob/Andreas and Carlos/Jason for the huge doubles wins to set the tone going into singles. Whenever you win all six sets in singles, that energy bounces around and is hard to counteract. 5-2 in the ODAC now with two big ones left in Virginia Wesleyan and Averett."
The WildCats travel to Virginia Wesleyan next Saturday. The match will start at 12:00 p.m.
