FOREST, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its 2024-25 All-Conference Team and Special Awards on Thursday. Randolph senior Jordan Phillips-McLoyd was selected to the Third Team. This is his first All-Conference selection.
Phillips-McLoyd had a career season for the WildCats as he returned this year after spending last season at Waynesburg University. He made his return felt immediately as he tied the Randolph game record for points with 38 in the WildCats' 101-93 overtime win in their season opener. For that performance, he was named to the ODAC Offensive Athlete of the Week. Phillips-McLoyd matched the 38 points in a 96-90 setback to Nazareth in December. Overall, he had five 30+ scoring games over the course of the season. He reached 1,000 career points back in December and 1,000 points in his Randolph career last month. He ends his WildCat career with 1,200 points to rank third all-time.
Phillips-McLoyd scored 498 points and averaged just a tenth of a point below 20 points (19.9) for the season. Both are the second-highest in a season in WildCat history. He currently leads the ODAC in scoring average and total points. He reached double figures in points in all but two games in 2024-25.
Phillips-McLoyd had his best field goal percentage this season as he was 158-of-360 (43.9%) and a career-best 139-of-161 (86.3%) from the free throw line. He also had career highs in rebounds (96), assists (87), and steals (28). He is currently sixth in the conference in assists.
