LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's soccer team made the short trip across town to the University of Lynchburg as the WildCats faced the #22 Hornets on Wednesday evening. Lynchburg won the match by the score of 3-0.
The Hornets scored the game's first goal one minute into the first period. They would score for the second time in the 39th minute to make it 2-0 at halftime. The third goal was scored in the 49th minute.
Lynchburg led 16-1 in total shots on 9-1 in shots on goal.
Dominic Cortes (Annandale, Va./Annandale HS) had six saves in goal for the WildCats.
Randolph is home this Saturday when they host Shenandoah. Game time from WildCat Stadium is at 7:00 p.m.
