LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph College Women's Soccer team dominated Hollins University in a decisive 6-0 victory, led by a stellar four-goal performance from senior forward
Sterlyn Woodward. The WildCats set the tone early, with Woodward scoring just seven minutes in. She struck again in the 16th minute, this time assisted by senior midfielder
Kaylie Todd, giving Randolph a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Randolph continued their relentless offense. Sophomore midfielder
Keghan Marion netted her first goal of the season in the 69th minute, assisted by junior midfielder
Alana Ellis. Just minutes later, first-year midfielder
Rozzalyn Jackson joined the scoresheet to make it 4-0. Woodward completed her hat trick in the 83rd minute and capped the night with her fourth goal in the final minute of regulation, bringing her season total to 10 goals.
Randolph outshot Hollins 28-2 and dominated corner kicks 11-0. The WildCats' defense held strong, allowing only one shot on goal, while Hollins' goalkeeper registered seven saves under constant pressure.
The 'Cats hit the road to Winchester, Va. for an ODAC matchup against Shenandoah at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
