Just under three minutes later, Randolph's defense held firm to block a Ferrum shot, however, Ferrum's Breanna Herlihy doubled the lead, finishing a pass from Ashlynn Mitcham. Ferrum continued to apply pressure, and Amber Gillen extended their lead to 3-0, assisted by Haley Woodward off a corner kick.
