LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's soccer team hosted its final game of the season as it took on Guilford on Wednesday afternoon. The Quaker's scored the game's only goal in the first half and made it hold up as they won 1-0.
Guilford nearly had the game's first goal in the 7th minute. Consecutive shots by Mya Rivera and Olivia Santos both glanced off the right goal post.
The Quakers scored in the 38th minute on Baylee Greenwood's team leading 13th goal of the season.
Randolph outshot Guilford 6-4 in the second half. Four of those came in frame.
Alexis Bossi (Falls Church, Va./Justice) had one save in goal for the 'Cats. Ady Franken came away with five saves.
The WildCats conclude the regular season on Saturday at Randolph-Macon. Game time from Ashland will be at 1:00 p.m.
