SALEM, Va. The Randolph women's soccer team traveled to Hollins on Saturday afternoon. Five different scorers tallied goals for the WildCats as they won 6-0.
The victory lifts the WildCats' overall record to 8-6-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the conference. Hollins drops to 1-12 overall and 0-9 in the ODAC.
Randolph led 2-0 at halftime and added four more goals in the second half. The WildCats led in total shots 46-1 and 24-1 in shots on goal.
Madison Booker (Norfolk, Va./Granby) scored her sixth goal of the season to give Randolph a 1-0 lead in the first half. Alana Ballowe (Dillwyn, Va./Buckingham County) had a pair of goals and assisted on a third. Amanda Ramirez-Rodriguez (Charlottesville, Va./Charlottesville) scored her first career goal as did Hailey Coleman (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest). Noah Phillips (Virgnia Beach, Va./Tallwood) tallied three assists to tie a WildCats game record.
Abby Gilbert (Virginia Beach, Va.) started and came away with one save as she recorded her second career shutout.
Randolph hosts its regular season home finale against Guilford on Wednesday. Game time from WildCat Stadium will be at 4:00 p.m.
