LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's soccer team hosted Washington Adventist on Sunday afternoon at WildCat Stadium. Nine different WildCats scored as Randolph won 9-0 over the Shock.
Randolph scored five times in the first half and four times in the second half.
Bo Knight (Big Island, Va./Jefferson Forest) had a four-point day with a goal and two assists. Riley Carl (Suffolk, Va./Homeschool) scored once and assisted on another goal as did Sterlyn Woodward (Madison, Va./Madison County). Knight and Ellie O'Connell (Aldie, Va./Lightridge) both scored their first collegiate goals while Jenna Derksen (Chesterfield, Va./Meadowbrook) and Carlynne Wright (Lynchburg, Va./Jefferson Forest) scored their first goals of the season.
The WildCats led in total shots 41-2 and in shots on goal 26-1. The nine goals are the most for Randolph since scoring nine against Hollins last season.
Randolph concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule on Tuesday as it hosts Meredith. Game time will be at 6:00 p.m.
