LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's soccer team hosted Regent University on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats defeated the Royals 10-0.
With the win, Randolph remains undefeated at 4-0. The WildCats are off to the best start since 2014.
Noah Carney (Charleston, W.V./Homeschool) and
Brian Kuhl (Fredericksburg, Va./James Monroe) had two goals to lead the 'Cats.
Evan Blow (Charlottesville, Va./Charlottesville, Va.) scored once and an assisted on a second goal.
Ashton Poythress (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover),
Gavin Leverette (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass), and
Brandon Betts (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) all netted one goal each.
Randolph outshot Regent 26-1 and had 18 shots on goal. All four goalkeepers got into the game for the WildCats with starter
Zach Aylor (Vinton, Va./William Byrd) picking up one save.
The WIldCats will host Mid-Atlantic Christian next Friday September 17. Game time is at 6:00 p.m.
