SALEM, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its Preseason Poll in Women's Basketball on Thursday. Randolph was picked 13th with 18 points.
Guilford College was selected first overall with 139 points and seven first place votes. Washington and Lee was tabbed second with three first place votes and 127 points. Randolph-Macon came in third as the Yellow Jackets picked up three first place votes and 123 points.
First year head coach Steve Lanpher has one lone senior on the team in Kalyn Banks. Banks averaged 14.5 points a game and nearly 10 rebounds (9.7) in 2018-19. The WildCats have eight first-year players this season and two sophomores join the squad.
The WildCats' season gets underway on November 9 as they host Meredith. The ODAC opener is November 20 at Roanoke.
