ROANOKE, Va.- Searching for their first conference win of the season, the Randolph women's soccer took on Hollins on Saturday. The WildCats scored once in each half and held Hollins without a shot to win 2-0.
Sara Bane (Blue Ridge, Va./Lord Botetourt) scored her team-leading 11th goal of the season just under eight and a half minutes into the contest with an assist from Marle King (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry). Bane would later assist on Makenzie Collins' (Roanoke, Va./Lord Botetourt) goal in the 57th minute.
Randolph totaled 33 shots on the afternoon with 15 coming on frame. With Hollins not recording a shot, goalkeeper Zoe Waring (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) easily recorded her fourth shutout of the season.
The WildCats welcome Randolph-Macon on Wednesday night to Lynchburg. Game time will be at 7:00 p.m.
