Randolph with Run Away Victory over JWU

LYNCHBURG, VA – Maggie Croft scored two goals and had an assist as the Randolph College women's soccer team booked a 9-0 win in a non-conference matchup versus Johnson & Wales University on Saturday.

From the opening kick-off Randolph asserted its offensive aggression taking ten shots in the first twenty minutes of the game. This aggression led to the 'Cats scoring six goals in the first half and adding on another three in the second half.

The WildCats offensive dominance was highlighted by the exceptional passing by the likes of Kayla Kishbaugh and Alissa Gembach. Randolph's defense was also as solid as it has been all season, only allowing four total shots and one shot on goal.

A number of Randolph players scored their first goals of the season, including Croft, Meghan Curtin Alissa Gembach, Alaina Gembach, and Megan Kruse.  The forward duo of Sam Hablas and Delaney Doyle netted goals as well.

Johnson & Wales (2-6 overall) goalkeeper Kylie Priddy had an exceptional game, stopping 15 shots in the 90 minutes.

Randolph (3-6-1) will look to carry this great momentum into their next game.  The WildCats return to Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play on Tuesday as they host the Roanoke Maroons at 7 p.m. at WildCat Stadium.
