Lynchburg Tops Randolph in Men's Lacrosse on Tuesday Night

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Lynchburg took control early, defeating Randolph, 19-2, in men's lacrosse action.

The Hornets rushed out to a 14-0 lead before senior Colton Wood (Chula Vista, Calif./Otay Ranch) got Randolph on the scoreboard with an impressive move in transition, breaking through the midfield himself to take on a defender alone.

Sophomore Brian Crosby (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) added another goal for Randolph later off of a dish from classmate Andrew Risse (Annandale, Va./Annandale) in the fourth quarter.

First-year Eole Lake (Gaithersburg, Md./Watkins Mill) had 11 saves for Randolph as sophomore Cam Davis (Gibsonville, N.C./Western Alamance) was removed after stopping eight shots.

The team will play Greensboro on Wednesday before returning home for Senior Day on Saturday.
