Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. -- On Randolph's Senior Day, a junior broke two
more records in a 20-7 loss to Randolph-Macon.
Taylor
Klevenz (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill),
ranked No. 21 in the nation in scoring, tallied five goals to
move into the top spot on the progam's single-season goals and
points list.
Randolph-Macon scored the game's first six goals before Klevenz
earned her first of the game and scored eight more before the
junior struck again off a pass from Taylor
Riccardi (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge
Co.).
Klevenz got her third off a pass from senior Ashley
Edwards (Sumerduck, Va./Liberty-Bealeton)
and another unassisted tally for her fourth.
Edwards and classmate Melanie
Eisele (Kennett Square, Pa./Sanford
School) later scored just a minute apart to get in the
goal column on their Senior Day.
Klevenz broke the program's goal record with 1:17 to go,
wrapping up the team's scoring.
The Yellow Jackets received six goals from Audrey Hester and
four from Janelle Whitman.
Before the game, Edwards, Eisele, Nushaa
Kaz (Raleigh,
N.C./Ravenscroft) and Samie
Maggard (Baltimore, Md./Patapsco) were
honored for their four years of service on the WildCats.
Randolph will have two road games next week before wrapping up
their home slate.
