GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Randolph's season ended today with an 18-8 defeat at the hands of Guilford.

After an early Quaker goal, Randolph equalized through senior Bobby Crosby (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) late in the first.

Consecutive Guilford goals once again put the Quakers up, but Randolph scored three straight, starting with Crosby.

After the senior's tally, classmate Colton Wood (Chula Vista, Calif./Otay Ranch) leveled the score before first-year Shane Soghomonian (Gaithersburg, Md./Watkins Mill) put Randolph up in the second period.

Guilford scored 13 of the next 14 goals, however, with just another Wood marker breaking up the home side's rally.

Wood added another before two more from Soghomonian in the fourth to wrap up Randolph's scoring.

With the loss, Randolph misses a chance to break the program record for wins in a season, which it tied last week.
