Women's Soccer Falls at Bridgewater in Second Half of Doubleheader

BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Taking the field in the second half of an ODAC doubleheader at the Jopson Field Athletic Complex, Randolph fell in women's soccer action to Bridgewater.

Bridgewater held the edge in possession, outshooting the WildCats in each half, earning a 5-0 win.

First-year Quinn-Lynn Bates had double-digit saves for the fourth time in five games since returning from injury.

Bates had 11 stops before being relieved by Stephanie Quirk.

Randolph has now played the top four ODAC teams over those last five games.

Those teams (Lynchburg, Washington and Lee, Virginia Wesleyan and Bridgewater) came into today a combined 38-6-3 overall and 22-0 against the other nine teams in the ODAC.

The WildCats are back in action when they host Randolph-Macon on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Randolph finishes the year with three of its final four matches at home.
