LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Randolph fell today in ODAC action 3-0 against Emory & Henry.

E&H (2-8-1, 2-2-1 ODAC) got on the scoreboard first when Jessi Biggs floated a high shot that had an arc just low enough to beat first-year Caitlin Annunziata (Havelock, N.C./Havelock) just under a half hour into the contest.

The lead was doubled on an unassisted goal by Natalie Bright off a failed clear attempt by Randolph (2-7, 0-4 ODAC) just five minutes before halftime.

20 minutes into the second half, the Wasps hit a third off a of a long throw-in just inches from the corner flag that was headed in.

Annunziata made 12 saves to keep the damage minimized, but the offense couldn't get going despite 11 Randolph shots, seven of which required saves from Sarah Jerome.

Junior Brittany Hammons (Newport News, Va./Grafton) led Randolph with four shots, three of which were on target.
