Box Score ROANOKE, Va. -- Randolph held a 22-20 edge in shots but lost in women's soccer to Hollins.
Becca Logan had a pair of first-half goals to get Hollins (4-7, 3-4 ODAC) up early, but Randolph (3-10, 1-7 ODAC) was not without its chances.
Junior Brittany Hammons (Newport News, Va./Grafton) hit the crossbar once in each half for Randolph's closest opportunities.
Matching the six shots from Hammons was another midfielder, first-year Maggie Croft (Manassas, Va./Osbourn).
Croft shot frequently from long range after finding space, but could not find the back of the net, despite a couple shots that just missed.
Of the team's 22 shots, nine required saves from Megan McKee, who is second in the league in saves.
On the other side, two keepers split time for the WildCats. First-year Caitlin Annunziata (Havelock, N.C./Havelock) came on in relief of senior Chloe Tong (Easton, Md./Wye River) and stopped all five shots on goal sent her way.
Randolph is back in action with three more road games before returning home for Homecoming.
