Johnathan Willis finished his sixth season at the helm of theRandolph College volleyball program in 2012. Willis has seen theimprovement of the WildCat volleyball program, as he has improvedthe team size while accumulating three times as many wins in 2010than he did in 2009. Willis has coached four All-ODAC HonorableMention honorees as well as a All-ODAC Second Team performer in2011. His WildCat squad in 2011 accumulated the most wins (11)since the 2004 team.

Willis is no stranger to the local Lynchburg volleyballcommunity. At Liberty University, his alma mater, Willis served asboth a volunteer assistant for the NCAA Division I women’svolleyball team as well as the head coach of the Flames men’svolleyball club program. Under his guidance, the men’s teamfinished the 2006-2007 season with a record of 20-8 and asecond-place finish in the Eastern Intercollegiate VolleyballAssociation Southern Conference. Wilils graduated from Liberty in2006.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Willis hasworked as a local clinician at Heritage High School, Franklin HighSchool, and Timberlake Christian High School. He also served as theassistant coach at Brookville High School from 2005-2006, duringwhich time the Bees won the district championship and finishedsecond in regionals. Willis has experience at the travel club levelas well, having served as the head coach of the Heart of Virginiagirl’s 16 and under travel volleyball team for the past twoyears.
