Biography

2017Appeared in and started all 27 matches...recorded 129 kills and fashioned a .236 hitting percentage...led the team with 45 total blocks and 32 block assists...collected a season-high 14 kills against NC Wesleyan on Oct. 28. 

2016: Made an immense impact for the WildCats in her first season with the team…played in every match on the year, primarily holding a middle blocker role…missed only one set…used her booming forehand to post 152 kills on the year, which was good for fourth on the team…was in double-figures on four occasions, including a high of 13 in two different wins: Methodist and Hollins…led the team in hitting, with a final percentage of .227…hit over .400 in five matches, which included a nine kill-0 error performance against NCWC…was also impressive in the front row defensively…finished second on the team in total blocks and assisted blocks with 34 and 44 respectively…led the team with 10 solo blocks…served up 12 aces on the season…will look to take on even more in her final season with the ’Cats.

2014-2015: Played two years for Lower Columbia…started both seasons for the Red Devils…named Most Improved player.

Previous: Played all four years for Redmond High School…started every season for the Panthers…also served as a captain for the team…was named Athlete of the Year at Redmond High School during her time there.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Amy Bergum…has one younger sister, Abby…made the Dean’s List and the President’s List for excellence in academics.
