2018: Appeared in all 31 matches...finished the season with 186 kills, averaging 1.74 kills per set...stands fourth on the team in total blocks (26)...totaled a season-high 17 kills against Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 20.
2017: Appeared in all 27 matches, earning 22 starts...finished the season with 136 kills, averaging 1.60 per set...tied for second on the team in service aces (24)...best match came on Sept. 2 against William Peace where she notched 10 points and 11 digs...twice notched a season-high four service aces, both times against Ferrum.
2016: Continued to show why she is one of the most versatile options for the WildCats…one of the only three players to play in every match and every set…played well up front and in the back…recorded double-digit kills on six occasions…set a new career-best against the top-team in the conference, killing 16 balls against R-MC…totaled 172 on the year, which was third overall on the team…also stout defensively, finishing fifth on the team with 195 digs…had eight matches with over 10 digs, including a career-high of 20 against Ursinus…had three double-doubles on the year: against Maryville, Guilford, and Ursinus (12 kills, 20 digs)…also served as a captain…will look to continue to display her talents as a junior and take on a larger role.
2015: Stepped in right away and had a great first season on Rivermont Ave…appeared in every possible 100 sets during the season…finished third on the team with 161 kills…had five matches with double-digit kills: Guilford at Averett, Ferrum at home, at Hollins, Guilford at home, and at Lynchburg…impressive late-season stretch where she had nine or more kills in the final four regular-season matches…set a career-best of 14 kills in the five-set victory over Guilford…also helped on the backline with 87 digs…will be counted on to play a larger role in 2016.
Previous: Four-year member of the Sullivan Central High School volleyball team…started two years for the Cougars…earned Academic All-Conference accolades for three years…was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a junior.
Personal: Daughter of Tom and Teresa Lesnak…has one brother and one sister…played four years of basketball in high school…was the Senior Class Treasurer, the President of the History Club, and the Vice-President of the FBLA in high school…volunteered at an animal shelter…minoring in International Relations.
