2015-2016 VaSID All-Academic Team
2016: Heart and soul player finished off a stellar career…the captain was one of only four players to start every game, which was made more impressive battling the different injuries…was a rock on the backline, covering impressive amounts of ground when needed to…made it difficult for any team to go through the center of the defense…remarked by non-Randolph observers that she gave everything she had…also provided on offense…scored the game-winning goal in the historic win against Randolph-Macon…came on a free kick that ended up over the line…scored on another free kick against Johnson & Wales…should’ve had another tally at Guilford, but it was incorrectly disallowed…will be missed by the team and staff for the leadership and effort and skill put forward.
2015: The captain had another stellar season for the WildCats…was very solid in the back, starting every game as the center back…snuffed out opposing attacks throughout the year, but also proved to be a very dangerous option going up the field…scored only goal on the year, but it was a great blast from outside the box against Emory & Henry, and also proved to be the game-winner over the Wasps…was named to ODAC Weekly Honor Roll for her efforts…uses her speed and athleticism to her advantage in both attack and on defense…will continue to do everything for the WildCats in her final season on Rivermont.
2014: Anchored Randolph''s defense, starting 14 contests on the year as a center back...scored her first career goal against Gallaudet...added the game-winner against Guilford off of a corner kick...also scored a pair of goals and an assist against Hollins, including the game-winner...helped Randolph''s back line to three clean sheets.
2013: Really stepped up in her first year with the WildCats…played important role on the team’s defense this season…brought aggressive, hard-nosed play to the team in the back…earned the 2013-14 women’s soccer defensive player of the year award…tied for game-high honors with five shots in win against Trinity...helped guide the defense to two clean sheets.
