Humphreys' coaching experience includes four years as the head coach of U17-U18 Powhatan Fury, two years as a boys varsity assistant coach at Powhatan High School, one year with ODP Central District of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association as a goalkeeper coach, and three years as the girls varsity head coach at Blue Ridge High School in Greer, S.C. Currently, Humphreys is the head and goalkeeper coach at Central Virginia United. 

Humphreys earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Sports and Exercise Studies from Randolph. He later obtained his Masters of Education in School Counseling K-12 from Liberty University in 2016.
