2016-2017: Strong guard made an important impact in her first season…played in 24 games during the season, providing instant offense…tallied a season-high nine points against Guilford…dished out four assists, showing playmaking ability on two different occasions…had four in win over Lawrence and then came up with four in win at Roanoke…used her strength well in guard different players and getting to the lane…will look to increase output as a sophomore.

Previous: Was a member of the basketball team at Monticello High School…started for the Mustangs for three seasons…was a captain for coach Erica Terrell for one season…named second-team all-district for three seasons…made second-team all-conference during one season.

Personal: Daughter of Nathaniel Scott and Jeanette Rush…has one younger sister, Kayla…member of the National Honor Society in high school…worked in the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
